The story
Spent $1800 having him redo the yard. Hired him to keep mowing. He decided they needed to remove additional shrub he previously had agreed could be left because he couldn't get mower past.

A month later I got a bill for $65. I noted on the bill that it was their original decision to not remove the shrub when they removed others because they were confident they could work around it. No response. Left a message. No response. Next bill came, same charge WITH INTEREST. I called and was told "I need to get paid for the work I did". They agreed that they didn't tell me that they were going to charge me, that they never responded to my notes and messages. I suggested he offer a compromise since part of the issue seemed to be a misunderstanding. He refused. I told him that if I paid the full amount that would be it for us using him in the future. He responded "fine". Then he didn't even finish the mowing season.

I paid him in full and am done. I can't deal with this behavior.
