I am a legal guardian and parent of an adult with disabilities. He attended Blythe Center (7565 W. Peoria Ave, Peoria, AZ). On 08/19, He was on an outing with Blythe Center and was assaulted by another client who threw a metal object at my son while he was sitting causing a huge bump and laceration that was bleeding. They transported him from the bowling alley (without contacting) and did not seek medical treatment saying it was unnecessary . They removed the assailant contacted about two hours later and I called the police, the police sent the fire department and the paramedics told me he should be taken to the hospital. I should have been notified when it first happened and he should not have been moved with a head injury until medical treatment was provided and I was notified. The assailant should have been separated at a safe distance from other clients so this should have happened. Please assist me by submitted these comments as a formal complaint for negligence.
