For the love of God, stay away from this place. Took our 6 year old Chevy Sonic in (80,000 miles) due to engine light/temperature issues. John, the general manager, informed us it would require a full engine rebuild, costing $4,000. My husband specifically asked him if it was worth it, or if we should just dump the car and buy a new one, and John assured him that if we made the repairs we would have years of life left in the car. Cut to a couple of weeks later, and the exact same issue was reoccurring. We had it towed to a different, highly recommended mechanic, who informed us John had put in parts that were first, not Chevy, so they weren’t compatible with the car, and second, appeared to be USED! We are livid. We reached out to John, and he is refusing to give us our money back or take any responsibility. In addition, he is refusing to give out the name or information of the owner of the store. Very shady. We are reaching out the Meineke corporate to hopefully get some of our money back, because fixing the car put such a big dent in our savings. DON’T EVER GO HERE!
