This is our first Spring Training in Arizona. I asked the other WAG's what is there to do in town while the guys are playing, a few gals suggested thrift store shopping and mentioned a few places, including New to You. So we I decided to check it out. It's cute, but the "ladies" who work there are kind of rude and the prices, for a resale second hand store are very high, considering you can do a lot better at a department store sale. I overheard a sales lady commenting "like she needs to worry about money?" after I inquired about the way the discounting works. My husband may be a (rookie) baseball player, but that doesn't mean I can go out and spend thousands of dollars shopping! I won't come here again only because I found out from a couple other WAG's this store is bogus. I didn't find anything except a nice wall painting that I did not buy because it was expensive. Maybe if they lowered the pricing structure to compete with other second hand stores, but the staff is rude.
