Provided by YPmobileI have dealt with Sears AAMCO for years, they are friendly and know their stuff! If they can't fix or diagnose your problem no one can. I would suggest them to anyone that is having car issues. They are affordable and will explain the issues to you before they begin the work. They are a family run business that is concerned about getting the job done right. I would highly recommend that anyone go there and not feel as there going to get ripped off.

Provided by YP.comI don't think the reviewer below me understands that there is no permanent fix for any car. Nor is anything going to be handed to you on a silver platter.
I've had really good service here. I've had multiple problems with my car and they have fixed it in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. They were even kind enough to drop me back off at my house while it was being fixed. Not to mention they were completely straight with me and didn't try to charge me for a bunch of other stuff that didn't need fixed. I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to be ripped off.

Provided by YP.comI got my transmission rebuilt by them on August 30th, 2007. I was traveling out of state on December 30th, 2007when it went out again, exactly 4 months later. I got stranded on the side of the road for a few hours before finally getting to a nearby town where I had to rent a hotel. The next morning I called up Aamco and he got it towed to the closest Aamco where they took over 10 days to fix the transmission, during which time I had to rent a car. Aamco refused to pay for any of the rental, hotel, or gas for me to drive back to the other aamco to pick it up. Because of their poor workmanship I ended up paying more than 600 dollars in fuel, rental, and hotel which Aamco here in Peoria very, very rudely told me was not their problem. The Aamco in another state told me that the problem was very likely caused by something that was overlooked by the first repairman.
Take my advice and take your business elsewhere.
