Went to KBL to get some information for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. It was a Saturday, and the design specialists were seated at their desks speaking with other customers. I walked around the store for half an hour, looking at displays. After awhile I realized I had made numerous "laps" around the store, but despite being repeatedly passed by the stores sales staff, no one acknowledged my presence or asked me if I needed assistance. I would have been happy to wait if I knew that at some point one of the design specialists would be free to speak with me. Since the staff saw no reason to ask me if I needed assistance, I left the store.

We used KBL for our new house. It was a horrible experience. I would not call them a "design" center. KBL came out to our house when all the walls were framed up to measure, but the kitchen cabinets ended up sticking out in a incorrectly into our dining area-causing problems w/ the flooring. We were told because we'd been provided a floor plan of the cabinets, that was our fault. The problem with that was it was less than obvious on the tiny printed version. We ordered cultured marble tops for the bathrooms. The cabinets in our master bath were measured so the counter was not the right depth-our builder had to make adjustments to compensate. The counter in our 1/2 bath broke when the builder installed it. A replacement was brought, but it too chipped when installed. We went w/ a slightly less expensive top in there, and a KBL rep told our builder "That's what happens when the owner goes cheap." All in all, I make an active effort to tell people NOT to go here.
