We found this clinic after our vet couldn't find out what was wrong with our dog. They are all very caring and compassionate people. I wish I was a dog or cat because they sure take their time to find out what the problem might be. They don't just say here take this pill or here take that pill, they find out just what is going on with your pet. Pets can't talk and tell you what hurts them so you have to find someone who is willing to take the time necessary to find the problem and they do just that. If you need a good place to treat your pet this is the right place.

I think Big Hollow Companion Animal Hospital is wonderful. Dr. Malcolm has been our veterinarian for over 10 years. He does a great job and really cares about our animals. We appreciate the extra care provided my all the vet. technicians. The receptionists at the front desk are accommodating, friendly and helpful. Thank you for the work you do for the animals in our community.

As a volunteer and foster family for several local shelters, we’ve had the good fortune of working with Dr. Malcolm. He is absolutely wonderful with puppies and kittens and, you can tell he really cares about their well being. During our very first fostering experience, we had an extremely emaciated mom with 14 puppies. It was a difficult first foster experience!! Much to our disappointment, the puppies began to experience health problems. Dr. Malcolm helped the puppies by providing medical care. He helped us by providing information on how to appropriately manage their care. Dr. Malcolm doesn’t make rush judgment decisions instead he listens patiently, does a thorough exam and diagnostics, then discusses the situation and the options. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Malcolm believes each animal deserves a chance at a good life. He not only cares about animals; he cares about people who love their pets.

To the point! My dog had puppies, they checked them to make sure they were in good health. 1 of the puppies did not have a fully developed upper mouth. When that means is when she tried to feed she could not suck! After 10 days we took her back, that;s when it was discovered and she had to be put down. During the 10 days we were hand feeding her because we say that she was not growing any. Then the clinic still charged us to put her asleep!

We have used the Big Hollow Companion Animal Hospital for our indoor and feral outdoor cats for a number of years now. Dr. Malcolm, one of the excellent vets on staff, is truely a caring and clinically skilled person. I wish my own doctor had the bed-side manner and concern for the "patient" that he exhibits. From providing excellent care to one very sick cat, to annual routine maintenance, to adoption services for several litters of kittens that have been thrust on us from outdoor cats, they have been amazing folks to deal with. Needless to say, we would highly recommend them to anyone.
