Provided by YP.comWhat happened to me is sort of long and drawn out. Trying to make it short, on Sat the 26th, I was left with only prescription sunglasses, thinking I had no insurance benefits to use until Mon. July 28. I had my own frames, needing only Stanton Optical to put in single vision lenses, and of course to then adjust my frames. I only chose Stanton because they had a working lab. I was waited on by a very nice female, whose name I did not get. I went through the whole "what happened", she gave me a 'Stanton Optical Insurance Verification Form', telling me where to fill it out, and even circling where I should sign the form. Imagine my, my disgust, when I called Eye Med on Tues, who put me on hold and called Stanton. My disgust because Drew? who's Drew? told her I NEVER told them I had insurance. If I had told them, they would have made a copy, and would have ran it through Monday! No. Just no. If I can choose 1 pet peeve....people who are not honest! Just no. Eye Med says it's not worth it to send it in. When they do it this way, insurance hardly pays you back! And no, my glasses weren't adjusted to my face, my ears. My ears aren't level, are yours? I've also never been charged per lens. I wasn't asked if I wanted the 2 yr warranty, she just charged me for it. I get new lenses every yr, I've never scratched a lens in my life. Just, just, no. No.

Provided by YP.comIt took 3 tries and 2 and a half months to get the glasses correct and after spending almost $700, I couldn't even get complimentary hard cases! I was told to come by and try one of the pair of glasses before they put the reflective coating on and when I got there, was told it wasn't necessary because that pair was the same as the other pair. A very stressful experience to say the least! I checked out an internet site and the same glasses ordered the same exact way would have been $175 and they send cleaning solution, glass cleaning wipes and a hard case with the glasses!

Provided by YPmobileTook my son in and got him 2 pair of glasses and spent $200. 3 months later he broke the bow and I took them in to get a replacement bow. They won't order a simple replacement bow for the frame. What kind of customer service is that? I have wore glasses for 30 years and have NEVER heard of such a thing. Terrible service. Will never go into that company again.
