Ok

I only bought a couple parts. Bad customer service, no urgency to communicate. Didn't have my stuff ready when they said it would be, lots of excuses. I don't know how this place stays in business

My wife and I have had the absolute WORST experience with this place. The saying, "I wouldn't send my worst enemy there" isn't applicable because I don't dislike anyone that much. Customer service is awful. Their mechanical skills are awful. The boat they sold me is awful.

We bought a wakeboard boat with 25 hours on it from Inland in July 2012. The first time out it had electrical issues. The second time the transmission fried. The fourth time out the coupler between the motor and transmission failed. Then they found a bad valve in the engine and said they fixed it. Their fix left that cylinder 25 pounds low on compression and making a bad noise. Their mechanic said it just needs to be run in for a while, to let the valve seat. Two trips later the motor started to fail again. It's in the shop. Again.

We've had this boat for 10 months now. We've used it 7 times. It's had 4 major mechanical failures. Keep in mind this is a boat that SUPPOSEDLY had a full mechanical inspection prior to sale.

Now, if that's not bad enough, add this on top... When we bought the boat the swim step pad was peeling up. As part of the sale (in writing) Inland agreed to repair the pad. After months of not being fixed, I took control and called the manufacturer. They no longer make the pad, but directed me to an aftermarket manufacturer who does. I supplied Inland the web site and all necessary info to order it. That was over three weeks ago. It still hasn't been ordered, let alone replaced. It's been 10 months and they can't replace a simple part? Are you kidding me?

Never again. I will never buy another single boat or product from them. I was even a repeat customer. I bought my last boat from them. And this is the way I've been treated. If you're thinking of buying from Inland, think again. Worst customer service ever.

dissapointed consumer

For the last couple of years I have been wanting to buy a descent and reasonably priced yacht. I live near Inland Boat Center and decided to check them out. As I entered one older man asked, "are you wanting to buy nine?" I responded, "I wish." I believe he asked me because I was with three (3) of my own children plus I was with my friend's children which probably made him believe I had too many children to actually afford to buy one. It was a complete disapointment because I was expecting to receive better customer service or maybe they had sold too many. It's too bad because my attention was to buy because I had been saving my cash for 24 months to make a purchase. I guess the only positive statement I can hive about this place is that I gathered as much information from their displays and took some pics so I can compare with their competitor. A business with no desire to sell in Perris should not have a license to sell. Too bad I couldn't support a business in my town. Oh well there loss not mine because I will be buying my yacht elsewhere.

Fraudulent dealer - do not buy from them

Don't buy from Inland Auto & Boat

I purchased a boat from Inland Auto & Boats in October of 2007 and took delivery of the boat in May of 2008.

There's a long list of complaints but I will only list the worst offenses including, but not limited to:

- Removal of speakers and head unit AFTER I purchased the boat - replaced with junk

- I paid for delivery (expecting a flatbed) towed boat 3000 miles without chains, unsafe bearings, malfunctioning brakes

- Brand new custom made top ripped on delivery

- Delivery was 11h late

- Won't resolve issues (won't even take phone calls)

- Agreed repairs leaking, not installed properly, broken - boat full of water following faulty installation of ballast

I don't expect the world out of a used purchase, and am generally easygoing since I have a lot of customer service experience myself, but this has been the worst experience of my life. Buyer beware isn't sufficient. Buyers stay away.
