Provided by YP.comSince Crystal did a segment on Better living she evidently thinks highly of herself now . She was very rude to me when I took items to sell. I noticed she was rude to others also. I won't be going back anymore.Good luck crystal. If you make enough customers upset you won't have a business anymore. Reality is CUSTOMERS make the business NOT the "I'm better than you" managers.

Provided by YP.comI was bullied by a sales clerk named Crystal in the Perrysburg, Ohio store. She called me a moron, as she let me into a fitting room to try on 3 dresses. She was passive-aggressive with me. I told her I didn't appreciate being called a moron to her as I walked into the dressing room - and possibly about to give this store my hard earned money. She yelled to everyone around, "I was just trying to be polite to her!" Just bizarre. Right before this happened, I asked a younger lady to let me into a fitting room but Crystal went out of her way to "help me". Another time I went shopping there, I took 45 minutes carefully selecting 4 items. When I laid them on the counter, the sales clerk told me "You wear too much black". I didn't know it was any of her business what color of clothes I wore. I didn't ask her opinion. I will never shop here again.

Provided by YP.comIt is great place to sell clothes, purses and shoes. They check what you brought, make fast decision to take or not. On some items they consult each other. It was my first trip, all transaction took around 20-30 minutes. Personnel was friendly, environment somewhat Christmas like. Within half an hour I got my check - more money what I expected. I am planning to bring more of my "gently" used clothing. I have to say, they prefare contemporary, seasonal clothing.

Provided by YP.comI have had several negative experiences with this store. I have had recent barriatric surgery with subsequent rapid weight loss. I have experienced the following at this store.
1. When I bought something from them, then returned to sell it
back less than a month later, the item was rejected because it wasn't in style.
2. I was told that they accept clothes from all seasons, but then clothing would be rejected because of season.
3. Don't bring a lot of items at one time. One time, I suspected that an item had been in the bin when I dropped it off, wasn't purchased; but also wasn't returned. I wasn't positive because I had brought so many things in. This time I definately know that I was ripped off. They did not buy a pair of shoes that was in my donated items, but several days later when I donated the clothes, the shoes were missing.
4. The last time I was there, they purchased two out of three formal dresses from a woman. They then offered to donate the third dress to the salvation army. They said they donate every week. After the woman left the third dress was placed on the same rack as the two dresses that they paid for.

Provided by YP.comI've taken clothes there twice. The first time I took about 20 items- all washed and ironed- and they accepted ONE top and gave me a whopping 2 bucks for it!!! When I showed my surprise, the lady there said "Well, the other items were either soiled or damaged." I took offense to this and politely said "I assure you that none of these items were either of those things you just mentioned." At that point she said "Well, it could be the style too." Why didn't she just say that to begin with instead of making me feel like a dirty/low class person that would take 'dirty and damaged' items in? I smiled and left and went right over to the Goodwill Donation Drop-Off and felt much better about my donation to them! The second time I took clothes to the Clothes Mentor - WHY DIDN'T I LEARN MY LESSON THE FIRST TIME? - The girl at the counter acted snooty all the way! The look on her face said "What in the world would you have that we want, you peasant?" And ... after all the washing and ironing I did for about 30 items ... they accepted five items and gave me $14.00! WHATEVER! That was my last time trying to sell them anything! It's interesting though ... that among the many clothes there ... some of it looks awful/out of style! I can't believe they accepted some of this stuff!!! It's so obvious that they pick and choose WHO they buy from, not really caring what the clothes looks like. Oh, well, to put a lid on this: The bad obviously outweighs the good here, but ... I have found some good deals there on some cute tops. Although, funny .... I still get lukewarm looks from the younger girls there when I'm buying!!!! I just consider the source now when I enter this establishment. :)

Provided by YP.comI would NEVER recommend anyone go into this business. The women were rude right out of the gate and to say "rude" is being very polite. I had 2 pieces I wanted them to see if they wanted to buy. Both formal-wear, both brand name, both worn ONE time, paid over $175 per item within the last 6 months. One she was like "too much stuff" as she crinkled up her nose - meaning evidently too much in the way of beading, etc. which is fine if it's not your taste, but oddly enough, you are wearing something very close to the same thing?? The other she actually ARGUED with me about - stating that she won't buy it without the straps while I'm trying to explain that it is a STRAPLESS little black dress! I will never, ever go into a this store again where I am treated so disgustingly. Good luck if you go in this dive - you are going to need it. When I last looked, this was Perrysburg, not the ghetto - you need to learn how to treat your customers with respect.

Provided by YP.comDON'T TRY TO SELL ANYTHING TO THEM!! I took a number of items - all clean & pressed without any flaws. If it didn't come from stores at Levis Commons or Lands End, it was rejected. And no, I didn't take old style stuff. I got a whopping $26.10. They definitely took advantage of me.

Provided by YP.comThis store is great if u are tired of paying $100 for Ann Taylor and Banana stuff. I did take some things to sell, if u call ahead and ask they tell u how they want stuff...when they say no hangers they mean no hangers...but they were friendly about it and did give a tub thing to put my stuff in. Not too long of a wait especially compareed to Platos. They give u a bit more than garage sale prices but its in cash so really no complaints. The women that work there are friendly and did explain why most of my stuff went home with me without making me feel stupid for taking up their time going through it.
But the expensive things u can buy cheap are amazing!! Designer purses...real ones not FAKES under $150.00 they had ones still in the Coach stores.
Bottom line tell your friends or keep this seceret for your self u win either way!
