its a great place to camp and the people are great, the beach is nice. it is all around awesome. go visit there its beautyfull.

This place is a great place to have a good time!!! It is not your typical campground by far, so if thats what your into then go to elk neck. This is more so a community of sites with shacks/campers. Everyone is laid back and friendly. The sites are purchased as in you own your sites and pay a yearly maintence fee. there is a field set up with tables and fire rings and electric at a couple spots but there are only about 10-15 sites so its first come first serve. Night times can get a little wild, only a low roar.

I called to ask if lots were available for the weekend and was told they do not take reservations. Ok, fine, so I asked if he knew if there were any lots left. Honest question, I thought. The response I got was "well, that would be a reservation, wouldnt it?" How do you operate a camp ground in this manner? If I drove an hour or two, especially after that response and found nothing available, I would me enraged!
