Provided by YP.comThey 'lost' our box containing alcohol, repackaged another box, and stained a sofa. After determining all of this (none of which was told to us upfront), we called and emailed them multiple times for 3 months to get approved for a refund, which we finally did. After calling, emailing them, and eventually sending them a letter from a lawyer over the next 16 months, we eventually gave up on ever receiving that refund.

Provided by YP.comI had a move 3 rooms of furniture from one level to another. Two men came and were rushing through the house with my furniture. I had to ask them to wrap the pieces so they would not be destroyed. They did not even have enough coverings. I had to supply an old sheet. One piece of furniture was damaged - so far - as I cannot see the other pieces since it was piled one on top of another. The owner offered $60! What about insurance for damaged pieces??? He then offered $100 - I probably cannot even get someone to come to the house for $100. I wrote a review on Home Advisor and the owner's rebuttal was ridiculous saying he was glad the issued was resolved. Not resolved as far as I am concerned. I called the owner and he never called me back. What customer service!

Provided by YP.comIf I could give Hercules Movers 0 stars I would. I hired them back in January 2015. I specifically went with them as they had moved me 8 years prior and they did a great job. Unfortunately this time around, they did a horrendous job. They managed to break two of my lamps. They scratched several pieces of furniture and the workers could not be more rude. In addition, they charged me an additional $120 for going over the time limit. This was due to the fact that once the truck was packed, one of the movers proceeded to use my bathroom and had us waiting around 20 minutes for him.
I wanted to give them a chance to make it right, so I contacted Ronnie, the general manager, at Hercules. He never apologized for the damage they had done. He proceeding to tell me he would look into it and get back to me. After 6 emails with Ron, where he actually responded. He began to not respond to me. Although he had sent me the following message:

I am getting you $120 refund , just needs to be approved every day now .

Needless to say I am still waiting for my refund. Although $120 nowhere covers the damage they caused. I will never use this company again and will make it a point to tell everyone I know to go elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comWe were promised by the salesperson that our stuff will arrive safely and he re-emphasized that the doors for my beautiful brand new stainless steel fridge will be takes off so that it doesn’t get scratched. He also stated that when accidents do happen which we understand that they do, that he has people he knows who can fix things so that his customers are satisfied. Unfortunately we believed him. My fridge was literally squeezed through the door to my old house. The doors were not taken off and all three doors were horribly scratches and dented. We called the company and were given the run around for 6 weeks now with no changes at all, no one to fix it or even look at it. In addition, my pedestal was not packed well which we were promised that everything that fragile will be crated so they assure that it doesn’t break, none of that happened. Things were shoved in boxes with paper around it. Of course not sufficient to cushion a very fragile pedestal, it was in pieces when they brought it out. Last on the list, one of the movers actually stated to us that a blanket that was put into one of the final boxes that actually belongs to my baby is very nice and looks expensive. Well that blanket was never found after that. I did unpack everything and the blanket is gone. Not only careless but thieves as well. Please reconsider before you use them. They might give you a cheaper price than a lot of the other companies to get you to go with them, but you will lose much more than the difference in price between this one and the more expensive moving company. My fridge alone was $4000 and to replace the doors on it, it will cost me $1200. I will never use this company again. I moved 4 times in the last 10 years and never had such a bad experience. Please be careful.
