Peru High School is owned and operated by the Peru Community Schools, and provides education to students in grades nine through 12. The business courses offered by the school include accounting, business foundations, computer applications, digital communication, marketing and recordkeeping. Its art department provides classes in painting, digital media, sculpture and ceramics. Peru High School also offers classes in English, mathematics, science, and family and consumer sciences. Its drama department provides classes in technical theater, theater arts and journalism. Additionally, the school offers special learning classes for disabled students. The school s staff comprises academic coaches, counselors, media specialists, school nutrition manager and speech therapists. Its sport programs include softball, track, basketball, wrestling, hockey and football. The school is located in Peru, Ind.
