Interior design was one of Rochelle's first jobs, altering the appearances of rooms by stripping wallpaper. Not exactly how you would imagine someone to be introduced to the world of design, but it worked. During summer vacations she worked for her motherâ??s decorating service, after a few summers her mother realized she had an untapped talent for colors and Rochelle was soon helping clients. Exploring how a room could be transformed with the clients was intriguing; she loved the challenge of helping choose just the right paper and coordinating paint colors. After college she started traveling to Europe where she discovered a diverse array of cultures, color pallets and architectural design. In 2003, inspired by years of traveling and her passion for design she started her color consulting business. Most of her jobs were for interior paint color consultations, but soon she was getting inquires for space planning and other design projects. She obtained a certificate for building codes and the business graduated to full home decor and remodels. She went on to become a Certified Interior Designer (CID) and later obtained accreditation for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED-AP). Rochelle has been creating interiors for almost 20 years.
