Established in 1975, Crater District Area Agency on Aging is a nonprofit organization providing its services to seniors in Virginia. Based in Petersburg, Va., the agency is instrumental in assisting senior citizens to remain in their homes for as long as possible, while helping to maintain their quality of life and independence as they age. Some of its services include outreach, screening process evaluation and information provision. Crater District Area Agency on Aging serves the cities of Colonial Heights, Emporia, Hopewell and Petersburg as well as the Counties of Dinwiddie, Greensville, Prince George, Surry and Sussex.
