Petoskey High School offers a variety of learning opportunities for students. Its traditional curriculum includes courses in English, social studies, science, art and math. The school also offers foreign language classes in French and Spanish. Additionally, it provides career and technical education courses in accounting, agriculture, computer-aided drafting, building trades, horticulture, hospitality and marketing. Its advanced art classes focus on drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpturing. The school s athletic department conducts various sports programs related to golf, football, volleyball, tennis, soccer, cross country, wrestling and baseball. Petoskey High School additionally organizes band concerts, parent conferences and family nights. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and is located in Petoskey, Mich.
