Provided by YP.comFor the last 10 years we have counted on this company to help us quickly and with expert care when we have had a number of issues with our furnace and air conditioning system. We are on a limited budget and trust them to give an honest evaluation of the problem and a repair at a reasonable price. Rick and his crew are always polite and considerate in explaining the work needed.

Provided by YP.comI was directed to Assured by my home warranty company. We called due to an unusual flame pattern. We even asked them about the heat exchanger because we had heard that is a common cause. They came out, tightened a hose, and assured us there were no other issues.
Now that it's cold we have found that our furnace is unacceptably loud (think an airplane taking off). We called them out (it took over 4 phone calls and a week and a half for them to schedule an appointment). They called the night before and said they might not be able to make it, but they'd call right back. Never called back, and didn't come or call until after the original planned time. When they came out they did NOTHING and told us we just have a "loud furnace". We had to pay our $100 deductible to them twice now.
We were still unhappy so had our own person come out, who in under 30 minutes, was able to find that we had a cracked head exchanger and that the cause of the noise was a cracked impeller from the exhaust motor. When I confronted Rick at Assured with this info, he stated that we didn't ask them specifically to look at those things. (I am not an HVAC specialist, that was why I called one I thought)
I had to have a 3rd company come out because the 2nd person wasn't associated with my home warranty company. This company also made a diagnosis in about 5 minutes and we are now getting a new furnace.
I would give Assured a "0" rating if I could. Besides providing no service and collecting my deductible each time, Rick was condescending and rude. Additionally, he took my $100 deductible each time, even though he did NOTHING, which is more than most other companies (including the others I had come out) charge for a service call.

Provided by YP.comThe owner of this company is very dedicated. I lived in Waukesha in1997 and got to see the hard work and commitment that Rick put in to satisfy each customer. I live in Oshkosh now and cannot find the same dedication to satisfaction. I highly recomend this company.
