Provided by YP.comIf you want excellent service from a serviceman that knows how to service equipment, call on this company. As an engineer, one of my biggest concerns, when calling service people, is that they try to pull the wool over your eyes and charge you for it. Doug is an honest and hard working person who tells you exactly what he thinks is the problem and then solves it at a very reasonable price. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend him and his company to anyone needing appliance servicing.

Provided by YP.comI highly recommend looking elsewhere for any repairs. After a couple of hundred dollars (only 12 for parts on a 1 hour repair) my older Amana fridge has the exact same problem again, about a month and a half later (no date on my sales order). I thought the initial cost was exorbitant, but this is freaking ridiculous.

Provided by YP.comThough the lone operator/repairman of this business came to my home on a Saturday to attempt repair of my Kenmore refrigerator, it is still not operating properly after 3 more subsequent visits. In the end, he gave up and did not return my call nor the knob which regulates the temperature; I must use a pair of pliers to turn the shaft connected to the thermostat control. I will now call Sears to have my refrigerator repaired correctly. I cannot with good conscience recommend this person for the repair of Kenmore refrigerators over 10 years old. It was after reading these reviews that I called this business. I know now not to put too much stock in these reviews when they only show the glowing reports and not the failures.
This was a very difficult person to work for so I am not surprised this customer complained. I first went to the house and found a bad thermostat and explained that the part was special order and expensive but suggested I could put a generic part that I had in my truck and it would work but the setting would it would look different. She agreed because on an older model fridge as hers was it wasn’t worth the extra cost of special order parts and the extra trip charge. I added the control and explained the setting would have to be different than what she was used to. A few days later she called again and explained that it froze her food. I went back out and noticed the dial had been changed from where I set it at. The customer I should explain has major and obvious mental and physical health issues, and a felt very sorry for her. Since I felt sorry for her I bought the special order parts and came back at no extra cost (I also discounted the original price and never charged her extra for Saturday work). I came back the third time and reinstalled the new parts to restore the fridge to the factory setting and explained that the fridge had to be set to the mid settings, the only thing missing was the dial itself that was lost in her very cluttered house. I told her I would come back again and order her another dial. Since this happen (I felt I was going way beyond what any other service provider would do) she called and was very boisterous with me and left me a series of vulgar phone messages. At that point I decided I had done enough for this person and refused to deal with her again. For anyone who reads this my business has an A rating on the BBB and as one can see from other customers we do nice work.

Provided by YP.comMy fridge stopped working on a Wednesday. I called Lake Country Repair and they were able to come out to my house that night. He told me he would have to order a new computer for our fridge and it could take up to a week.
He called 3 days later and said our part was in and he said that he would be over in 30 minutes to put it in. Total cost for the part and service was $270. This price is way cheaper than buying a new fridge.
He was very fast and we had great service with Lake Country Repair. We will deifinetly use them in the future and recommend this company to others.

Provided by YP.comDoug serviced our refrigerator. After an early morning call for repair, our fridge was up and running the same day before noon! He has so many components on his truck in stock. Doug really knows his stuff, is honest and professional. It is all of the little things that day about customer service and professionalism that really stood out making this experience so different in how I felt when he was there and even after he was gone! I have already referred Doug to others and will continue doing so. Doug, I wish you great continued success. There is no doubt that you will rise to the top!
