I gave this location a two star because the facility was clean and seemingly orderly, however, this particular McDonald's loses three stars due to service. I don't make a habit of posting negative reviews because most times they can be riddled with emotions. I waited through the day to see if I still felt unhappy about my experience. Obviously, McDonald's is not going to be the high quality ambiance one might expect from a five star restaurant, I get that. On the other hand, I don't believe a customer should be made to feel uncomfortable while ordering her brunch over the counter. I have been to this location before and never felt so emotionally drained. While waiting to get the attention of the girl behind the counter I was made to wait for several minutes for her to stop complaining about one of the cooks in the back. For what seemed like overkill, she spewed one derogatory spite after another to the redhead cashier before even looking at me to take my order. She was so loud, I don't doubt, the employee she was braying about could hear her as well. When she finally took my order I was embarrassed for her, the employee and the other cashier. Believing she was finally done venting in her puerile manner, she devolved her sour attitude onto me. I could not have been more wrong. After she treated me like I was also her problem, I felt seconds from leaving without paying, and could not have felt more disgusted with my service. Later on, I asked the redhead cashier if I could speak to the manager. To my dismay, she proudly announced, "Amy IS the manager."
I have had six hours to cool off and reconsider my review...however, it still stands. High school bullying obviously lives on in this manager's career as well. Brunch tomorrow will be Burger King across the street.
