Provided by YP.comI have known Tanya for years, back when she was a vet.tech.at Loma Linda Animal Hospital(a outstanding Hosp.).I know Dr. Sig has the highest regard for her, as do I. She takes excellent care of the animals she has rescued, and when not caring for them she has a shot clinic in her area and vouchers for the clients she has dealt with to spay and neuter their pets. Many hours of transporting them to and from the high desert for adoption, bathing them, medical care for them, immun.,all while being a mom and wife. Her husband works alongside her in their quest to help animals who cannot help themselves. I read the whiny comment about not being called back promptly and all I could think of is for that person to get over themselves. Also, they do not sound patient enough to have a pet. Animal rescue is a all-consuming project as I have done it over the years, nowhere to the extent Tanya does. Patience, training, takes so much of yourself. Tanya is to be commended for all she and her husband do and continue to do. Bravo to her and God bless.

Provided by YP.comI have to say I am VERY disappointed with this rescue.
Saw a cat(Tommy) in the Redlands Petco about three or four weeks ago, and asked the associate what we needed to do to set about adopting him. They directed us to Tanya's Inc., and gave us the phone number to call. We were also informed they come every Saturday.
We went ahead and:
1. Called
2. Visited the website and filled out an application
3. Favorited the pet on the website
4. Called again
5. Personally emailed Tanya's Inc.
6. Showed up each Saturday for two weeks
(Apparently marketing and merchandising yourself at the OC Family Pet Expo is more important than ACTUALLY getting these animals adopted out or even informing the people who have signed up for e-mail alerts that you won’t be there)
7. Called again and again and again
8. Asked other rescues who DID show up at the Petco events about the status of Tanya (they had no information for us other than they “USUALLY’ are pretty dependable)
9. Called once more
10. Emailed Tanya’s online for the second time
11. Left about 5 voicemails total
Please keep in mind that this all transpired over the course of four weeks. To this day, I have not heard one thing from them. No callbacks, no emails, NOTHING. It is one thing to say that you “care about animals”, and yet another thing to put it into practice. Unfortunately for Tommy, we eventually had to move on when it became clear to us that these people CLEARLY don’t have as much of an interest in giving Tommy a home as we do. Poor little guy. I still see him looking at me longingly from behind that wretched glass in a container too small to house the 10 or so cats that call it home each time I visit Petco.
And since it seems that no one in the rescue cares enough to reach out to us, I’ve found it necessary to voice my concerns in the guestbook. So, the message is this:
Take heed when deciding to adopt from this so-called “rescue”. Tanya’s will contact you when it’s convenient for them, regardless of how this affects the animals. I have never dealt with a rescue so unprofessional and blatantly rude in my entire life. Consider adopting from BARC, another local rescue operating out of the Redlands area. I received a phone call from them not even four hours after I had left the adoption event at Petco. It’s unfortunate that these animals must suffer at the hands of people who claim to “rescue them from suffering”, but maybe people choosing to abstain from adopting from this rescue will make them take a look at their practices and values to better help the animals they claim to serve.
You better believe that I will be posting this to anyone and anywhere that will listen as well. Better step your game up Tanya.
