my cousin and his friends paid 200 dollars in march to have his birthday. the woman in charge overbooked the place and their section was taken away. when my cousin became upset they threatened to throw him out and wouldn't give him his money back even when he presented a receipt. i had to yell to the bartender that was too busy flirting with some guy to even take my drink order. they advertise being open until 3 when they close at 2. Stay far away. there are much better places to go in the city.

Egypt was a very nice club. What made it so nice is that it tried to cater to a variety people by playing different types of music. Each individual section of the club played different kinds of music simultaneously, everything from hip-hop, to rythm and blues to pop and alternative music. Also it had a style and level of class that rivaled some of the nightclubs in atlantic city. Too bad that it burned down.
