Extremely disappointed by their management. I am currently leaving one of their units because I was relocated to the West Coast. I sent three checks for my last three months, and then was told the last month was already paid, so I asked to have the final check voided. However, they did not void my check, and moved on to deposit it, which set me up for insufficient balance in my bank account, and I was penalized. I called Allan Domb Real State several times, and all they could say was "I need an answer from my supervisor and he's not here now". Five days later, since I didn't hear back, I called again multiple times until they finally gave me an answer and told me that they would cut my check. However, I will not have it in my possession until the following week. The kicker is I'm being penalized by my bank because of their mistake, and the company is not willing to do anything in return. By the time I get my check, it will be two weeks from when this whole thing started. I have never been late to pay my rent, so why are they refusing to compensate me for their mistake? Cynthia, the rep there, even dared to say it was my fault for sending the check to them in the first place! Even after I called them and asked to void it! If any of us were late to pay our rent, we would be penalized by the company, however, they not willing to pay for their mistakes is completely unacceptable.
