I recently moved out from F18, and I regret that I rented from there and extremely disappointed. I would never recommend someone rent from there anymore because the landlord is freaking aggressive person and doesn't care if the maintenance should be addressed in the apartment or not. There were huge holes on the balcony, and she specifically said that she will repair it, but she didn't do anything. In summer, we usually kept the balcony door open for obvious reasons, and my daughter often wanted to step out on the balcony, but we were always fearful thinking of that she might fell onto the wood holes. And of course it just stayed like that during our tenancy (Nov 30, 2015-Nov 30, 2016). She changed all three balcony woods just recently when of course there is an emergency to let someone in immediately after we move out. I am not sure why Carousel Station Management didn't care about this for years, why they didn't enforce penalty against the landlord is unknown. Maybe Carousel Station Management don't care too what's going on with their apartments.
When we started living there, she didn't hand over the apartment clean to us. Carpet was extremely dirty, and there were a lot of trash all over the places (kitchen, refrigerator, closets). We end up paying for the carpet cleaning (Sears), but now she refused to give us the reimbursement for that (worth $150 in total). And also she is accusing us for other stuffs that we never did and which were already there when we moved in. We stopped complaining about everything when she said that we need to accept the apartment condition "AS IS". Anyway, I am done with her.
