Being the spontaneous individual that I am led me Dave's. As I walked past during one of my lunch hour treks I suddenly decided that I needed a haircut.



When I walked in both operators were busy, but one of them assured me that I would be both in and out of her chair if I had 15 minutes to spare because she was almost finished with the seated customer.



Normally I don't like to wait for things but her greeting had such an unpretentious and friendly quality to it that I decided to stay.



I got a great haircut in the time frame promised. The price was right too. I will definitely be getting my next haircut at Dave's, but next time I think I will make an appointment. Walk-ins can't always get that lucky, even at Dave's.

Dave's is not just your average barber shop it is a lot more then even I expected. I am a student at Penn University and I take the subway down to Dave's because they have the best deal on highlights and cuts in the area. I started to send all my friends to Dave's because of the phenomenal prices and atmosphere

Most people probably have closets bigger than Dave's Salon, but size doesn't matter in this contest. Where else can you call in the morning for a lunchtime appointment, get a much better than barber shop quality haircut, and still have enough money in your pocket for lunch? Dave's is the place. It is tucked behind the MAC machine on south 4th. Highly recommended.
