Since I've met my GF, we have been going out to eat late night dinner 3 to 4 times a week. Mai Lai Wah is one of the best spots in Chinatown. We went to several other restaurants past midnight and the crowds are usually small. The news is out that Mai Lai Wah has the best crowd and good food at the most reasonable prices. Every time, we are there at either 1am or 2am, there is still a big crowd. We feel right at home and the staff recognized us after our 10th visits in 3 weeks. Our favorites are the clam with X.O. sauce and soft tofu sauteed with Chinese vegetable. Highly recommended!
