The Walt Whitman Bridge is owned and operated by the Delaware River Port Authority, which a regional transportation agency. It offers services to the residents of southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. The authority is responsible for the maintenance and construction of cruise terminals, transit links and bridges.
