About Harp Column About Harp Column Harp Column Magazine Harp Column magazine, founded in 1993, is the premier news and information source for harp players throughout the U.S. and other countries. Published every other month, the print version of Harp Column contains news, interviews, how to articles, and in depth feature stories on all aspects of being a harpist. Reader favorites include a semi-annual "harpmobile review" ( we rate new automobile models on their harpist-friendly features ), periodic "gig rates surveys" ( we survey professional harpists throughout the U.S. to find out what they charge ), and regular music and CD reviews. To sum it up, our motto says it all: Harp Column is "practical news for practical harpists." harpcolumn.com In 1999, we launched harpcolumn.com, where members of the online Harp Column Community can talk to each other in forums, post upcoming musical events, and share news about what's happening in their section of the harp world. We are also pleased to present you with the most comprehensive harp-for-sale classified ads listing you will find anywhere. Our new version of harpcolum.com, launched in February, 2006, also includes blogs from some of our favorite harpist friends around the globe. Adult-beginning harpist Carol Ringenwald joined our staff as Circulation Maganger in 1997, and professional harpist Alison Reese joined us as Managing Editor in 2003. Rowe continues to serve as Editor and Designer ; Brock is Harp Column's Publisher and Webmaster. Orlando-area professional harpist Jan Jennings has been our Music Review editor since our first issue.
