Provided by YP.comEd Weintraut Jewelers are scammers, plain and simple. I took my expensive watch to them to have the battery replaced as it indicated that I had only a week's worth of power left (it was still running). I waited for 15 minutes there and he hands me my watch back - dead. He said that "somehow" the internal mechanism was damaged and that the watch was broken and would cost $35 to fix! It was working when I went in there and this was the first time I had the battery changed! I then brought it to another jeweler who - without prompting - said it looked like it was damaged when someone tried to replace the battery. I then returned to Ed Weintraut to ask them to stand behind their work and they pretty much told me to take a hike. So if you are looking for someone to break your jewelry, deny it, and then try to charge you to fix their mistake go to Ed Weintraut. Otherwise, go to one of the many other jewelers nearby.
