Dr. Grace J. Wang is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her general surgical training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She then completed a Vascular and Endovascular fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she has since stayed on as faculty. Her clinical interests include carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting, endovascular and open interventions for limb salvage, and endovascular and surgical repair of thoracic, thoracoabdominal and abdominal aortic aneurysms. Dr. Wang is also Clinical Director of the Vascular Lab at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology through the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests lie in using large scale databases to study trends in practice, predictors of outcomes, and gender disparities in access to care in vascular surgery. She has utilized the Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS), National Surgical Quality Improvement (NSQIP) as well as the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) registries to conduct these studies.
