Justin attended West Virginia University from 1990-1992 where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team. He then transferred to Gannon University where he was a two year letterman in wrestling as well as a member of the soccer team. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Gannon, graduating in 1996 with a master’s degree in physical therapy. Justin passed the national athletic training exam in 2003. Justin lectures both regionally and nationally on various sports medicine topics including hip arthroscopy and sports hernia, upper extremity injuries in the overhead athlete, return to sport testing, and ACL rehabilitation and injury prevention. His position as lead therapist/coordinator of sports medicine at Aria 3B Orthopaedic Institute involves direct patient care, overseeing the sports medicine orthopedic fellowship, conducting and facilitating clinical research, developing and revising postoperative rehabilitation guidelines, and implementing community outreach programs. His clinical physical therapy practice focuses on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. His expertise lies in non-surgical and post-surgical lower and upper extremity injuries, return to sport testing, as well as surgical and non-operative management of sports hernia.
