Provided by YP.comBeware! They are thieves! The owner named Erick got my order and was paid for that two month ago. Now he is hiding from me. He stole my money and my fabric. Please avoid this shop.

Provided by YP.comThey are very friendly and know what they have and very patient. I took my laptop in cause I found a dress on the internet I was trying to copy. The pictures were not the greatest I had. Everyone is the store is helpful and they found the exact laces and were helpful. I really like everyone there and will be buying again and again and I will try there first. It's a 45 minute drive for me. Since they are so helpful I will make the drive.

Provided by YP.comThey are super friendly at Maxie's Daughter! They have a great selection and it is very easy to navigate your way around the store. They also have a large selection of Bridal Fabrics. I would highly recommend this business.

Provided by YP.comI specifically purchased fabric from Maxie's Daughter because they have been in business for over 50 years. I came to shop from Texas. I ordered 18 yards of upholstery fabric on June 20, 2011 that Eric, the owner, was going to ship to me so I wouldn't have the aggravation of lugging 18 yards home in a suitcase or the cost. He said it would be sent in 4-6 days. After countless calls, text, emails, lie after lie, I NEVER received my fabric or money. I absolutely would NEVER do business with Maxie's Daughter again. Eric is a liar and unethical. What I found out after the fact, is that Joann's Fabric, a national company, actually carries the fabric I went all the way to Philadelphia for and, is a very ethical business. Buyer beware, never buy from Maxie's Daughter unless you have fabric in hand and even then I would just avoid that store. Eric ruined my event. The owners seemed like such nice people with a family (ma/pa) business but don't be deceived. Agh!

Provided by YP.comIn September 2010, I took a blind to Eric Trobman, the owner of Maxie's Daughter, a Fabric Store on 4th Street in Philadelphia because its string needed repair. The blind was purchased from him a while ago with a lifetime guarantee. He did not honor the warranty, So I accepted to pay for the repairs. I kept on calling Eric Trobman on a weekly basis to check on the status of the blind's repair. Eric Trobman started to evade my phone calls. I made a dozen trips to his store and caught him there on numerous occasions. He kept on making false promises that it will be repaired soon. Today is February 7, 2010, and the blind is still not repaired. My wife and I went to his store and literally recovered the blind from his store. We discovered that it was never shipped to the manufacturer and was collecting dust for 5 months in his store. He did not even refund our money. Eric Trobman is a big liar and I strongly recommend that you think twice before conducting business with Maxie's Daughter. There is at least a dozen fabric stores on 4th Street. You can blindly go to any other store and you will most likely deal with a decent person. Eric Trobman and Maxie's Daughter should be banned from doing business in Philadelphia.
