I have done business with Schmidt's in the past and although their work was well done, you don't walk away with any warm fuzzy feelings. The other day I phoned to ask about cost for flowers that I need to purchase to make centerpieces for a family party - the person on the phone was so rude. It turns out that another family member had the same exact experience with them. She was asking about floral tape and was accused of trying to steal their trade secrets! Floral tape is a secret? Think I'll send them a note.

I ordered flowers for my daughters 40th birthday. I live in florida and needed to have the flowers sent to my daughts office in philadelphia (where the florist is located). they guarantee same day delivery with a 4 hour notice - I ordered the day before. My daughter works until 3:00 and at 2:00 the flowers still weren't delivered. When I called the store, the woman was rude and blamed me for not telling her that they needed to be delivered by a certain time. I don't know but if you are delivering to an office and you have specific times you deliver, I would expect for them to tell me THEIR times for delivery. I will NEVER use this florist again!!!!!

I've been using Schmidts Florist since my wedding in 1982! I wouldn't use any other florist in the Philadephia area! They are the best!

This is hands down the best florist in the entire Philadelphia area. Not only do the flowers arrive fresh and beautiful, but they are actually grown in Mr. Schmidt's own greenhouse. I know b/c I have been there! Mr Schmidt did the flowers for my sister's wedding as well as for mine. Amazingly beautiful and so fresh it will make you realize how inferior most other florists really are. This is not some 800 # place to order flowers. Theseare local peopleand are "the real deal."They provide incredibly fresh flowers that are grown right here. I always send flowers from them and then hear rave reviews about how beautiful and fresh they are the day they arrive. Schmidt's Florist is one of those local businesses that have been quietly providing superb quality for quite a long time.

This is the first time I have used this florist.I found their advertisement online and because of their 5 star rating decided to give them a try. I was very pleased with the pleasant and efficient service that was provided. The order was for a funeral the next day. They delivered the flowers early as they had promised. The flowers were fresh and the arrangement was beautiful. I highly recommend them to anyone needing flowers.

I have never in all my years of dealing with Schmidt's had any problems. The number of years they have been in business is a testament to them. If you call to order flowers, ask for Nancy. She took special care on an order for friends who just lost a Grandson.
