Child Care Information Services, a part of Caring People Alliance, is a community center that serves more than 20,000 citizens. Founded in 1932, Caring People Alliance is a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the United Way. The parent organization specializes in serving children, youth and families in various issues. Caring People Alliance serves individuals and families through several community centers. Its community centers also include R.W. Brown Community Center in North Central Philadelphia, Fels South Philadelphia Community Center and West Philadelphia Community Center. The parent organization also offers a variety of clinical programs and services.
