Provided by YP.comI have no complaints about the year I spent living in an apartment managed by Robin Apartments. The landlords are friendly and accessible, the rent is super affordable, and the apartments are clean and safe. The main office accepts packages for tenants of all Robin Apartment buildings, so that is really convenient. I also appreciated the fact that it only cost me a one-time $50 deposit to have my cat in the apartment. Perhaps some of the other reviewers lived in a different building than I did, but I never had any significant issues with noise from other tenants. Sure, the street noise can get loud, but if you live on Chestnut, what else would you expect?
I'd definitely recommend this company for anyone looking to live in the Rittenhouse area.

Provided by YP.comPlease read this before you make up your mind about this company. They seem to have a decent amount of positive reviews, which is inexplicable based on my experience with them. I've rented from them for a while now and as far as I can see the only good thing about Robin's Apts. is their prices. The apartments are cheaply made, poorly maintained and shabby. Their idea of repairs seems to be painting over things. The floors squeak with every step you take. The walls are paper thin, sound insulation is non existent. Relaxing and/or sleeping is a luxury in these apts, not a given. And worst of all is the landlord. He treats his tenants like morons, or lies or placates, but don't expect any problems you might have (besides very basic small repairs) to actually be solved. If you question these managing techniques, expect to be yelled at. Also, the neighbors are the weirdest unfriendliest most inconsiderate human beings I've ever had the displeasure of living next to. Unless, it's all you can afford, STAY AWAY.

Provided by YP.comThese apartments are cheap, but if you think you're getting a bargain, think again. You get what you pay for and less. You get a decent size space with cheap finishes, crooked doors, cracked walls/ceilings painted over and PAPER THIN walls. Your enjoyment of your apartment will be entirely dependent on your neighbors, as in if they are up, you'll be up and if they party, you might as well go stay at a friend's house in order to get any rest, if they smoke, your apartment will feel reek, etc. Don't expect the landlord to do a thing about any of this. You will be constantly accosted by homeless on your way home, they will also most likely be perched on your front stoop half the time. Also, do not underestimate the street noise on Chestnut. A Large truck or bus going by is enough to rattle these old poorly made buildings. Most of your utilities will be included, but again, you get what you pay for. It takes almost 5 minutes for hot water to warm up in the morning and the heat is barely adequate and is controlled by the landlord, not you. To sum up, I'd say that Robin Apartments would be probably be a perfect place for a very non picky, deaf person.
