Six Fishes founder, Cara Frank recognized that many people in the Philadelphia area would come for acupuncture treatment more frequently if it was more affordable. Many people’s budgets are stretched thin with school tuition, student loans, mortgages etc, leaving very little for self-care. This acknowledgement, combined with the significant population growth of the Gray’s Ferry end of South Street, served as the inspiration to open a friendly, community centered practice: Six Fishes Neighborhood Acupuncture was born! Six Fishes Neighborhood Acupuncture provides private acupuncture treatments along with affordable, semi-private and mid-priced acupuncture treatments. Modeled after the hospital clinics in China, semi-private acupuncture treatments will be provided on massage tables separated by drapes to provide full body acupuncture treatments at $40 per treatment. Joining Cara in the practice is an outstanding team of practitioners who are experienced leaders in the field of Chinese Medicine: Dr. Lynnae Schwartz, M.D. M. Ac. and Joseph Goldfedder, L.OM. Each practitioner offers a unique and singular specialty, all are committed to treating people in every phase of life.
