Great old tavern atmosphere. Awesome food! Great jukebox! Bartender actually paid attention to us - that was a switch-great service.

What a place. Not many real taverns left - this one is one of the best in the northwoods. Simple and friendly with great sandwiches and the coldest beer I've tasted in a long time. They have a back entrance that we pulled our snowmobiles right up to - imagine that right downtown Phillips and we jumped off our sleds and walked right in the back door. Awesome. Tasty food and great drinks - this place is now on our must stop list everytime we get to town. Thanks Dawn for a great time, Jim and Susie from Plover,WI.
