I am a bariatric and metabolic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. I have a strong passion for treating and preventing the multitude of diseases related to obesity. My specialty in the surgical treatment of obesity allows me to provide his patients with a renewed and healthier life. I believe in individualized, quality care for each patient and develops a treatment plan based on their medical and surgical needs. I am on multiple national committees as an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and have presented research nationally. I specialize in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery including the Roux-en-y gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and revisional bariatric surgery. I also specialize in advanced laparoscopic foregut surgery for the treatment of hiatal or paraesophageal hernias and achalasia, as well as for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) amongst others. At St. Luke’s Weight Management Center, we offer a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of obesity and obesity-related metabolic diseases both medically and surgically through current, data-driven and proven strategies.
