We have been customers of Matrix for over a decade now. Generally speaking, the company has provided adequate web and email hosting services, and in the past, Dustin and his cohort have been reasonably easy to get into contact with when changes are needed. In the past several months, however, this ease of contact has changed.



We first tried to get in contact to make some changes to our website late last year. A few emails were exchanged and a meeting time suggested; when we agreed upon a general time during the week to meet, we never got a response in the affirmative. Our line of work requires frequent travel, so we decided to shelve the meeting. We tried again early this year, and were able to make phone contact, but again, were never able to settle on a precise time to meet.



Following that were several months of failed attempts at getting in contact, by email or phone, even as we continued sending payments to Matrix. We have called literally dozens of times, always being redirected to some phone number not listed on Matrix's website. At one point we even drove to Matrix's physical address in Philomath, only to find the building completely empty.



At first, our goal was simply to make some edits to our website. Now, all we wish to achieve is the transfer of our domain names to our own GoDaddy account, from which we can link to a new website ourselves. Dustin finally did get back to us after we left a comment on his personal Google+ page, but attempts to meet in person continue to prove difficult. Today is the second time one of our employees has driven up from Eugene with the express purpose of meeting with Dustin, only to find he may not actually be available yet again.



I would recommend any interested parties stay away from this company. Paying customers should be able to expect better treatment.
