Provided by YP.comLove this place! I have been a customer for years and go in every once in a while to get a loan on my jewelry when I need to. Everyone is very friendly and since I've done business here before, I can get my loan and be in and out in minutes...but usually end up talking and looking around at all the new stuff they have..lol

Provided by YP.comBUYER BEWARE!!!! I was in the store (for the 3rd time) on 2-17-12 looking at 2 guitars I have had my eye on for the last month. I offered a fair market offer on 2 Ibanez guitars. I used recently ended auctions to arrive at my fair price. Which is what they do when they give you a offer to buy your item at 20%-25% of auction price.
My offer was fair market. The Ibanez RG420EG had 2 ending auctions. 1 for $172.50 and the other for $101.00. Combine the 2 prices and then divide by 2 and you get an avg price of $136.75. My offer for this guitar was $200 out the door. More than fair. And my offer on the other guitar was equally fair. Still, it wasnt good enough for them. They wanted an additional 50% mark up from my offer. And I must be honest, these 2 guitars were not close to great condition. I would classify them as players. And Ibanez makes so many lower priced models that these 2 guitars are losing value every day.
Generally I have no problem with people pricing things as they wish. The market always sorts these things out. But this pawn shop (like many others) want to play by certain rules when they buy your stuff but they dont want to play by those rules when it comes to you buying it. People/business like this pray on the stupidity of an uninformed consumer. They subscribe to the "bigger idiot theory". Its how they make their money. Im all for making an honest buck. Their practice with regards to music instruments and a 50% mark up from fair market value is not an honest approach. Its gouging. And its easy to believe if they do this with one item they do it with all of their items.
Now if you want to sell your items for whatever they are willing to pay, thats your business. But if you plan on buying something from AtoZ Pawn do your research. You will save yourself some money in the end.
