The Arizona State Parks Department is responsible for managing various recreational facilities. The agency administers a trail program that includes technical assistance for organizations in Arizona. In addition, it hosts conferences, training sessions and educational events. Arizona State Parks conducts statewide research. The agency is also responsible for managing over five grant programs. It coordinates with several advisory committees.
