Provided by YP.comI have been getting my mammograms here for years without having any issues. However since my most recent scan I have been having some discomfort. In mid August I had my annual mammogram. I have breast implants. They are about 20 years old and have not had an issue until August. The day after my scan I had severe pain in my left breast. I thought maybe my implant broke, however the symptoms led me to believe it was something else. My breast was tender to touch, and when I laid on my side I had to kinda support my breast and bending over also made my breast hurt. As time passed the tenderness subsided. Its now October and my breast is not tender anymore, however when I bend over it feels like something is pulling away from my skin....an uncomfortable feeling, and I still must support my breast when lying on my side. I have thought about making a doctors appointment to get an ultrasound to find out what the problem is, however I dont want to pay for the cost. I just want your techs to be aware of this situation. In the past I have never had issues with pain in my breasts during, or after a mammogram.. I do think that I will be hesitant to return to the beast center next year.
