It's unfortunate to see another one bite the dust. I wish I never bought my Bourget.
Ha,was I right or what?

Provided by YP.comSTAY AWAY!! I bought my Bourget Dragon in May of 2007. (Brand New) The first time I waxed it, I noticed that the paint job was SH@T! I notified Bourget's and they said..."we farm out our paint jobs, so we are NOT responsible"! It cost me $5000.00 to have it repainted. During the first 2 months I owned it, I went through 11 blinkers. There was an electrical problem which kept blowing them out. I would be riding along, and the headlight would blow up and the bike would die. I would hitch hike home and get my truck and trailer and get it home. (happened MANY times) To make a long story short, in the 5 years I had it, I only put less than 10,000 miles on it. (it was always in the shop or waiting for parts) August 8, 2012 my Springer front end locked up, the neck cracked and the bearing couldn't "jump" it. I was on a straight road, the bike went to the right (I couldn't stop it) and I crashed into the guard rail. The bike was totaled, and I received road rash, a broken rib and a broken leg. Bourget's didn't show up for the disassembly (which PROVED they were responsible) didn't show up for court, and are currently defying a court order to pay for my injuries and compensation.
If I am the one who finally "broke the camel's back" and caused them to go out of business.....it makes me wonder how many lives I saved (for new buyers).
While I will admit that my bike was by FAR the prettiest one I have EVER owned (and I've had 4 road bikes and 6 dirt bikes) the ONLY thing that I feel a Bourget is good for, is to weld your mailbox to the handlebars, and park it at the end of your driveway. (if you're LUCKY, somebody will steal it) If you STILL think that they make a good product, go online and see just how many "owners" are trying to sell them with less than 10,000 miles on them.
When I called Brigitte Bourget to talk to her about how many problems I had experienced, after less than 45 seconds she said "I don't want to hear about it" and hung up on me. (prior to my crash) Since the crash, they do NOT respond to paperwork (certified mail) or emails from my Lawyer, me, nor the Judge.
Personally, I would tell Brigitte to stuff every one of the bikes sold since Roger Bourget was phased out, into her arse! She is definitely a "bottom feeder"!!!
Roger has reopened in Montrose Colorado under his full name. I sure wish I had known that he was being phased out of BBW. I would have waited and dealt with HIM, as I thought I was in the first place....

Provided by YP.comSent my bike to Bourgets to have it totally reworked. After a year and $20k it was finally shipped back to me. Took it for a test drive and at mile 180 the rear caliper fell off and ruined my back wheel. Bourgets refused to pay for the correction. I also noticed that the paint on the tins does not match the frame. Moots or the owner will not even get back to me regarding this. The bike now looks terrible because of their low standards. This is a company that does not stand behind their work and does a shabby job.
