I was called and scheduled a sleep study for Mothers Day. I arrived 15 minutes early because my husband (On accident) mailed the wrong doctor the paper work. I did however have a completed 2 week sleep study history on hand. I was put in a room and given a few pages of paper work to fill out. The Tech said " I will be right back I am going to check on another patient." Almost 45 minutes later I go to walk out my room and the tech walks in. I told her I have been done with my paper work for a while and was unsure if I misunderstood her directions. She told me "No your fine" then she said it was almost time for her next patient and she would "fit me for a mask but would be unable to hook me up until she got her 9pm patient settled in." I had no complaints but asked if I could eat my dinner I brought in with me because I was hungry. She said "ya no problem" Later when I received the copy of my Sleep study results the Tech LIED about EVERYTHING!!!! She said that I put her off and took a long time to complete the forms. So on my results it said " The patient had cooperation issues" I was upset about this so I called and asked for her supervisor. The supervisor told me that her tech noted I took 45 minutes to complete the paper work and that I kept telling her I was not ready. If the lazy tech would have done her job in the first place it would not have been running late. How about not lying on patients medical records. Thank GOD my doctor knows me better and trusted my word but still Medical Records are Legal documents and if they have tech's lying on them to cover up their laziness it is not a place to go to! I would NEVER go there again!! The supervisor told me she would e-mail me a complaint form and NEVER did and now does not return my calls. Bottom line is They will LIE on your medical records!!!
