Provided by YP.comMy son has been going to Copper Sun for about 3 months now and I think they do a very good job. We searched all around central phoenix and it is very difficult to find a certified day care facility (apparently it is not mandatory for day care facilties to be certified) They are not perfect and they are a bit on the expensive end, but we want our child to have excellent care and Copper Sun delivers that.

Provided by YP.comWhen we got the phone call from Copper Sun that there was an opening in the infant room I was ecstatic. Two of my friends currently have their children enrolled and have nothing but good things to say about the center. The center goes beyond the state requirements and it’s a beautiful facility. My daughter has been at Copper Sun since she was 5 months old and her teachers, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Angie, are amazing! They don’t see it as ‘just another job’ and their interaction with the children throughout the day is positive and loving. Not only do they have a great relationship with my daughter, but they also go out of their way to communicate with me and I value our relationship highly. I entrust my daughter to them every day and I am so grateful for them to be a part of my daughter’s life.

Provided by YP.comCoppersun did a fantastic job at making it seem like my son was in very good hands. However, after a few months there, I found that it wasn't everything that I thought it was. The continual scheduling conflicts always upset my son's teachers and they were constantly negative and complaining. If that weren't bad enough, the one teacher always came in looking hung over and often used my son to refer to one of the other children because the child's name was Baxter, which equated to "bas.tard" when my son said it. When I asked her about it, she just laughed.
I ended up pulling my son out after he had some MINOR medical issues. Their response to his issues were to completely ignore me and him, then make excuses for why he needed to go home. When I confronted the teacher about the issues and let her know, they're minor things, not likely to happen again, she went out of her way to lie to get him sent home again.
For what I paid for that facility to watch my son, their teachers attitude and professionalism was far below standards. Great concept, but not very well managed.

Provided by YP.comWe have had two children at Coppersun. Both started in the infant room and have moved up through the daycare. The teacher/student ratios are below the state requirements and the teachers are outstanding. They take the time to get to know your child and make daycare a happy place to go during the day. We have had particularly good experiences with Terry and Delores (in the 1-2 year old room), and Anna and Becky (in the 2-3 year old room). They all truly cared about how our children were doing at school. During the day, the teachers do extra activities with the children such as finger painting, art projects, singing songs, reading books, and water play during the summer. Finally, the daycare is conveniently located downtown for parents who work in the area. Overall, it is an excellent facility.

Provided by YP.comMy 2 year old daughter has been at Copper Sun since she was 3 months old. This is a safe, clean, fun center for a child. The staff here is phenomenal. They care so much about the children and their development. They offer extracurricular activities (sports, yoga, dance) that are a huge benefit to working parents who can't take off in the afternoon to take a child to another location. I wouldn't think of having my child anywhere else. Just take a tour of the center, it speaks for itself. We love Copper Sun!!!

Provided by YP.comMy son has been going to Copper Sun since he was 2 1/2 months old and he is now 19 months. The caregivers are fantastic and really care about you and your child. From day one at Copper Sun, everyone remembered who I was and my son's name too. The caregivers in my son's room were not the only ones who knew or cared about my son, but a majority of the caregivers at Copper Sun loved him too! This is not just a job to the caregivers, they really love all the kids at Copper Sun! My son absolutely LOVES this place and everyone who works there! I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a daycare.
