The 3rd person below me is being super dramatic.

Last month, Donna and the other groomer (Jane) bathed and clipped nails on my dog, who was in dire need of a bath but has an epic meltdown when approached with water. I watched them do it.. He was freaking out and while they were firm with him and got the job done, they were still very kind and careful not to hurt him. The "can of rocks" is a "penny can", and it's just shaken at the dog as a distraction (and it WORKS, my dog stopped his freakout immediately). It's not thrown at them or used to hit them, sheesh.

He came out smelling like roses, with a cute red bandana, and was loved on and given many treats before leaving, and was actually quite happy after the scary water part was over. The other dogs leaving (poodles and bichons and whatnot) looked fantastic and none were scared or shaking, they all seemed pretty at ease with being there. I would totally recommend Donnas.

best groomer around! I've been going to her for many years! She is very friendly to both the customer and the pets. I completely disagree with both of the bad reviews on here. She would never harm an animal, and believe if she was rude it was provoked. The "can of rocks" is actually a soda can with 11 pennies in it. She merely shakes it a couple of times quickly and it works wonders for making the dogs behave; stop barking or misbehaving in general. I have even made one of my own for home. It works wonders when the dogs bark at the door or start to jump on people when they come in my home. Donna knows my pets and they love going to her shop. She has even worked so well with my timid rescue dog that he is no longer afraid of but loves going to get groomed. I have recommended her to many of my friends over the years and stand strongly behind this recommendation!!

best groomer around! she's been grooming dogs & cats for over 40 years! many of her clients have followed her for years through multiple pets. I love that she knows me & my pet by name as if we are family! My dogs used to be very afraid of the groomer, but they are always happy when they are with her. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Donna for about 2 years. Donna and her staff are excellent, caring people. I have never been dissatisfied with their grooming services. Our dog actually runs to the door when I tell him he is going to Donna's! I refer my friends and family to her as well. I highly recommend this company!

**WARNING!** NEVER EVER EVER ...

**WARNING!**

NEVER EVER EVER BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!!

I took my dog here to get his nails trimmed and upon entering I let Donna know that my pet did not like getting his nails cut and that he often gets feisty, She proceeded anyway while having me hold him while he screamed like I have never heard my pet scream before. She would not let me have a moment to try to calm him down, she just continued. She then hit him three or four times with a can of rocks and that was it. I told her that we were done and that I would like to pay and leave. When I tried to lift my dog off her table she pulled his leg in the opposite direction so hard that he was screaming again and SHE DID NOT LET GO. I told her to let my dog go and pulled him from her hand. She proceeded to yell at me and tell me to get out of her store and never come back. She continued screaming rude comments as I left as quickly as possible but not before hearing "He should be put down!" as the door shut behind me. My dog is very friendly and would never hurt anyone. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. KEEP YOUR DOG SAFE AND AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE.

No way groomer is touching my dog

I walked into store with my dog to see what the facility was like and make sure she groomed Shih Tzus. She was grooming a yorkie as i walked in. My dog was excited to see other dogs, she was barking and the dog she was grooming was barking. I can tell you my dog is extremely loveable, and only wanted to play. She began clapping her hands and telling them to shut up and then proceeded to ask me why my dog was like.

Her demeanor was rude, she knew nothing of my animal or her nature and told me i should not pet her when she was barking. She merely wanted to play with other animals, she weighs less than 4 lbs so i doubt she would do any serious damage if she were a mean dog, WHICH she is NOT.

Based on the woman's personality, I would not take my beloved pet to a creature like her.
