Provided by YP.comI had to put my baby kitty down just after a year old due to his illness with leukemia. Although he had a short life with me he was my everything and meant the world to me. With that said Dr. Fixler was amazing, couldn't have gone better with how he handled everything. Talked you through everything he was doing step by step. Was just overall amazing with my baby kitty. Although I had my kitty cremated. The delivery with his ashes wasn't so smooth, I was very very upset on how he was delivered back to me. Ended with me being in tears. I live in an apt complex and was told he'd be delivered right to me and that I'd have to sign for him back, I waited 6 hours at home for the delivery, never came. I had called and spoke to jasmine which she then called for the delivery info on "Ace" my kitty. She called me back saying he was delivered although i was home all day and never got anything. She had told me she couldn't get ahold of the person who actually delivered him so they weren't 100% sure where he had been delivered. She told me they may delivered him to the office of my apt complex, which I did not want. I wanted my cat right back home with me. And may I remind you it was past 530 at this time the office of my apt was closed, luckily my fiance found someone to let us in and to find out he was delivered to the office and probably sat down there for a good few hours. I was not happy!! Whoever delivered my ace kitty I hope you learn to be more respectful and have a little more consideration!

Provided by YP.comWe had a very large (mastiff) and difficult dog who was at the end of his life. I didn't want his last moments to be stressful. Yet he presented a significant challenge as he didn't welcome strangers readily. Dr. Fixler and his assistant worked with me and my precious Dublin to make his final moments peaceful and pain free. As sad as it was, it was wonderful to see him without pain or fear as we said our final goodbyes. Thank you so much Dr. Fixler for finding a way to make that happen. We are forever grateful.

Provided by YP.comAfter more than 18 years of pure love and joy, we had to say goodbye to our little Min Pin girl UBe. As painful as saying goodbye was to us, Dr. Fixler came to our house and made UBe's send-off painless and humane. We were able to hold her in our arms as he administered the medication. We didn't feel uncomfortable at all crying our hearts out in his presence. He was a gentle presence in our house at the most difficult time of our life. We thank God every day for Dr. And Alicia Fixler. They even stepped out to their car while we held her and said our goodbyes. Today her llittle ashes came home and Dr. Fixler enclosed a beautiful poem winch also had UBe's paw print on it as well. Thank you Thank you Thank you Happy Endings for being with us and supporting us through this painful time.

Provided by YP.comMy brave little guy, Sparky, was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer earlier this year. After months of treatment to prevent the cancer from spreading and to give him the highest quality of life, Sparky started to decline. I knew I wanted to do an in-home euthanasia if possible when the time came. I did some research and chose Dr. Fixler and Happy Endings based on all the positive reviews and the description of the procedure on their website. When his oncologist said it was time, I told her of my decision and she recommended Happy Endings as well.
Dr. Fixler was so kind and understanding. He gave Sparky the first injection while he was in my arms, and he had a look of absolute contentment on his face as his pain was relieved. Dr. Fixler let me take all the time I needed before the final injections were administered. Sparky went peacefully in seconds, which was such a relief. I know I made the right choice with in-home euthanasia, and I am so grateful to Dr. Fixler and Happy Endings for making Sparky's final moments peaceful and pain-free.

Provided by YP.comAfter 2 bouts of cancer in the last 1 1/2 years my sweet dog was diagnosed with bone cancer. She had been limping for a few weeks and her world became smaller and smaller due to immobility and pain. I made the heartbreaking decision to let her go with dignity before things got worse. Dr. Fixler is the ultimate "happy ending" not only for the pet but also for us, the totally distraught owners. Despite the sorrow and pain i felt of letting my baby go, Dr. Fixler created a very comforting mood and it was the most peaceful experience anyone could have in this situation. Knowing my girl just went to sleep with no trauma, fear or worries was worth everything to me. Thank you for your services and i can only urge anybody to use Dr. Fixler if you have to part from a beloved pet.

Provided by YP.comThere is not much more I can say than has already been said in these reviews. Dr. Fixler provides a service that is so needed and appreciated. He is professional, kind and understanding. He takes his time and explains each step of the process. Although this was the hardest thing to do, we felt like we let our girl go with dignity and respect. Thanks Doctor Fixler and staff.

Provided by YP.comI would like to thank Happy Endings for being so sensitive and caring during one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever had to go through in my life. I really appreciate that there was an in-home service available. My dog, Bandit, was 14+ years and unable to walk anymore. Being a large dog I was trying to imagine how I was going to carry him. How uncomfortable, stressed and how confused he would be wondering what’s going on once he entered the vet’s office. All those fears were laid to rest once I contacted Happy Endings. With all the love and happiness he gave me in his 14 years, the greatest gift I could give to him was a peaceful experience. No matter how hard and painful it was for me to let him go, it gave me peace knowing it was a very peaceful and happy ending for him. So thank you again from the bottom of my heart for what you do and all your compassion. There are not enough words to express how much you are appreciated.

Provided by YP.comMy dog had been suffering from skin cancer for which he was receiving treatment. I came home from work one night and found my dog paralyzed from the waist down. After several hours of trying to help him walk I realized he was not going to make it. I called Dr. Fixler at about 3:00 in the morning. He came quickly and was extremely professional and caring of my dog. Dr. Fixler even explained to me that some skin cancers will spread to the spine very quickly on dogs, giving me an explanation of what happened. It was nice to know my dog's last moments were pain free, which was a feeling he probably hadn't had in months. Thank you Dr. Fixler for all your help.

Provided by YP.comIn short, they made it to my house within a couple hours of calling for their service, were very professional, caring, courteous of our feelings, gentle with our loved one, and informative. Provided by YP.comI have, for the second time, used Dr. Fixler’s services. It’s never a good thing to have to put a beloved pet to sleep, but Dr. Fixler and his staff are as compassionate and caring as anyone could hope for. Moreso, actually. In addition, he walks you through the entire process so you know exactly what is happening and will be happening. He is patient and kind and will take as long as you or your pet may need. I am so thankful that I found Happy Endings Euthanasia and will use their services for as long as I have pets. Really, I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I hate having to have to call him, but know that when the time comes for any pet of mine to pass on, he is the one who I want to be there. Thank you, again, Dr. Fixler, Reanna and Alicia. You’ve made a very difficult decision much easier to handle.

Provided by YP.comDr. Fixler, his wife Alicia and vet assistant made the horrible situation of having to end my dog Yukon's suffering while on vacation from out of state very peaceful. The service they offer is so comforting to both pet and human parents. I highly recommend Happy Endings for the compassionate professionals they are. Thanks!

Provided by YP.comI can't thank Dr. Fixler, his wife and assistant enough for the kindest and most pain-free way to have your pet go peacefully. My dog Gretchen, 16-1/2 blind, and suffering, was difficult to let go, but Happy Endings made it easier for both me and the dog.

Provided by YP.comThe made a bad situation much easier. I can not say enough about them. My Dane has back issues and his quality of life deteriorated. They helped me over the phone and were extremely patient within my home. They are heaven-sent.

Provided by YP.comWonderful Experience
Our experience was wonderful from beginning to end. From the first time I spoke with Alicia to the time I said good-bye to Michael, I could not have been more pleased. Made the worst day of our lives so much more pleasant. They were so understanding and patient. Michael and his assistant had the BEST bedside manners of any doctor we have ever had. I cannot say enough good things. It is totally worth the extra money to do it at home. Only you and your loved ones matter – it’s peaceful and there’s no dreaded drive home. We really loved Happy Endings and will recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you for making this difficult time as good as it could be.

Provided by YPmobileDr. Michael and his wife, Alicia were simply amazing when I had to put my cat of 7 years to sleep. Their kindness, professionalism, and care will never be forgotten and knowing Havoc went peacefully instead of suffering gives me more comfort than I thought possible.
His final moments were not filled with stress and fear from having to ride to a vet. Instead, Happy Endings gave him peaceful and loving send off.
2 weeks later, when he's urn arrived, I found a poem that brought even more comfort.

Provided by YP.comI'd never do it any other way... We've been lucky enough to know about the Fixler's and their services for the past few years. We first called them in June of 2011 to help us put down (they're all hard, but this was one of the hardest) my boy, Frisco. Then, this past August we had to let go of our other boy, Blues. It's such a completely different experience with the Fixler's~you couldn't ask for a better couple to be with you. When you do have to part with your sole mates, it's so much better for them to be in the comfort of their home. No stressful vet visit... Familiar, favorite surroundings with beds, blankets, toys and people they love. It's never easy to do but I know this way is SO much better for my little guys....

Provided by YP.comHaving to say goodbye to my best friend was unbearable, but Happy Endings made it a little less so. Dr. Fixler is professional yet personable; he remained peaceful, informative, empathetic, patient and supportive throughout his visit. After confirming information and examining my dog to see if there were any other options, he agreed with our decision.
He took his time, allowed us to take our time, not rushing anything before, during or after. He respectfully explained what he would do and what to expect, before and again during the process.
I'm so thankful for the services Dr. Fixler and Alicia provide. The experience is hard enough; an in-home option makes it a little less painful for everyone. We were free to cry without having to hold back, we weren't rushed, we didn't have to make that awful exit and trip home from the vet, and most importantly, my ol' girl didn't have to make that awful trip TO the vet, surely no small feat in her then-current state. She was able to remain at rest, and go in peace, at home, with her people at her side the entire time.
I hope it's a very long time before we ever need to do this sort of thing again, but when we do, I hope Happy Endings will still be around, because what they do, and the manner in which they do it, is irreplaceable.

Provided by YP.comIt is never an easy decision to put your "best friend" down. When it was truly the time to let our Roxie go Dr. Michael Fixler and his caring team from Happy Endings made the decision less painful and comfortable for Roxie in her home. Saying goodbye is always so difficult, but what a blessing it was to find a Happy Ending for her in her familiar and comfortable surroundings.
