Jokake Construction was established in 1983 by brothers Mike and Gary Smith, whose family roots date back three generations as Arizona farmers. The company name, pronounced ' Jo-kaw'-kee' ', is a Hopi word for 'mud house' and was chosen to reflect the heritage and expertise at building superior quality projects intended to stand the test of time. The owners understand and respect the traditions of the Southwest's culture and values, as those same traditions have helped mold and grow Jokake into the company it is today. The company is a full-service general contracting firm specializing in commercial projects.
