The Office of the Maricopa County Assessor administers laws and regulations for property owners. Its mapping division provides spatial data to analyze geographic information. The office s information services division manages various aspects of the computing environment, including data center operations, end-user support, Web presence and applications maintenance. The Office of the Maricopa County also operates a personal property division that establishes and maintains data on each account for tax rolls. Its real property division is responsible for assessing and valuing residential and commercial real estate, as well as vacant land within the county.
