I had to wait more than 40 minutes to see Dr. Cunnignham. He never looked me in the eyes. He said very little to me. He ordered a bunch or tests but didn't explain why. When I went back it was the same thing. His staff is rude. The patients are rushed through their like cattle.

Went to office for a very simple problem and was forced to get a full physical including an ekg...I had a female issue and I'm under 40. I did let them know that I found a new PCP and cancelled a follow up appt and was still charged for it! I called an told the office that I cancelled that appt and was told they would take care of charge. A month later I recieved a reduced charge. VERY unprofessional..babd bubsiness practices, poor management. There are so many great PCP's out there...no need for anyone else to go through this.

Positive: Fast scheduling if I was ill, waiting room times minimal. Bad--high staff turnover (is there a problem behind the scene?) I never saw Dr. Cunningham himself, only a different physician assistant every time. I would find one I'd like, only to have him/her gone the next time. I had a routine blood test only to be called several times at home (and even receive a letter) to come in IMMEDIATELY to review my test results. Before taking more time off work and paying another copay I called them--was it really necessary to come in? YES, I was told, there is a problem. Just having completed cancer treatment I was terrified. Like a sucker, I made an appointment, paid another $50.00, only to be told my "cholesterol was a little high" and they "might change my medicine next time". I was furious and will not come back. I realize businesses are scrambling for a buck, but their deception just to get another copay was inexcusable and unprofessional.

I have gone to Pueblo Family Physicians 4 times and I have to say that the doctor I saw, was not only mean to her assistant but made degrading comments to me. She was very short with her answers and her assistant acted as if this was her first day. Each time I went for the same problem, got a different nurse each time that asked me the same questions everytime with a chart sitting in front of them. The front office was dirty, as well as the lab across the parking lot, and the front door handle fell off in my hands!!! Beware if your appointment is made close to lunch, you will be met with glares and very short answers, simply amazing this place is.

I booked an appt late last year thinking I was getting an MD and ended up with a nurse practitioner. There are no MDs on staff here. Dr. Cunningham is a DO. They repeated my labs 3 times as the numbers fluctuated so bad on the second one (with extended fasting) from my baseline there had to be a mixup. They told me it was impossible. I received a frantic phone call after the 2nd test to immediately start medication for excessively high triglycerides when they had always been normal. I had to be the one to suggest a repeat test first and then they were normal (3rd testing). They don't return phone calls, you always get voice mail and they are uncooperative regarding prescriptions - insisting on an office visit. I was leaving town and called 5 days before leaving. Finally reaching them at the 11th hour, they told me I had to come in but I was leaving the next morning and didn't have time at that point. Told them I would come in upon my return but they refused to renew it so I had to go

I am very pleased with the attention I received at my intial appointment. I was asked to arrive 45 minutes early for paperwork and to allow time for insurance verification. I was with the doctor within minutes of completing my paperwork. This is impressive. The doctor was very thorough and made me feel completely at ease and answered all my questions. I was sent to the lab and for other tests. All my paperwork was on file withing minutes of me receiving it, so when I called to set up appointments, they were ready for me with the referral already in their system. KUDOS!! The only negative is the rush of the people who attend the phones. When calling in for test results and to express concern that I was feeling worse even with the meds instead of better, I was put on hold through the middle of my sentence and rushed off the phone. In the end, the attendant did leave me feeling a little more relaxed offering to call me back with another appointment time and or test results. I would defi

Dr. Doug Cunningham is awesome and so is his staff. They are very anttentive and you are always seen on time. Appointments are also easy to schedule. I have never been in an out so quick for routine follow ups. It does take some time if labs, other tests, etc.. are ordered but that is what you have to expect for great care, and the doc is extremely thorough. Bev is the best.

I have been going to Pueblo Family Physicians at both locations for almost 14 years because the quality of care with the actual doctors is phenomenal. But I have to say to anyone who has to request a referral elsewhere or requests their file and their labwork to be forwarded to a specialist - beware!! The back office referral department does NOT follow through in the timeframe allowed. They do NOT send the required records to the specialist and they force delays on a patient that can be life-threatening. My daughter was sent to a specialist and asked in writing for all of her lab work to be sent to the specialist along with any doctor write-ups based upon her symptoms. At 29 days, nothing had been sent to the specialist. On her appointment date, the only thing that arrived that morning at the specialist was a doctor's write-up to see a specialist. No lab reports or results for ALL of the labs she has already had were sent to the specialist. So the specialist was in the dark. T

As a new patient I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The waiting space was not used long and Dr. Boor greets you and escorts you to your appointment room. He was understanding, informative and resourceful. Graciously discussing my options. Furthermore the staff appeared caring and helpul. They take care of business and seem to be familiar with their clients. I highly recommend Dr. Boor and I know call Dr. Boor my primary care physician. Thak You!
