Provided by YP.comDo you want to be put into a vehicle that you love and are told you are approved for, only to be told several days after leaving with it, that you have to bring it back? Do you want to be talked down to, criticized by and disrespected by total strangers that think they are the end all be all of the Chevy industry? Do you want to see how quickly attitudes change, once you're no longer of use to them? If so, Midway Chevy may be the one for you! I had the WORST car buying experience ever, thanks to Chris, Bryce, Mika & Eric. Props to you all. Steer clear from this place, Sands outranks them all day.

Provided by YP.comI do not recommend this dealer to anyone in their worst nightmare! Forget buying anything here and move one to somewhere else! The customer Service is absolutely horrible. Rating F!! After you buy a vehicle they just forget about you. As soon as the deals done and you go back with problems or concerns you get a massive run around, They avoid you and refuse to return your calls, and when you actually do get to talk to someone they have to forward you onto someone else, then someone else, then someone else till you end up back where you have started. I am not ashamed to tell my story. I bought a new Silverado from them, They knew fully what I was asking and understood. The problem here is the sales guys are uneducated on their own vehicles. They constantly have to read from a manual! I said I was towing and some heavy loads fairly frequently and was told black and blue that this Silverado would do it. After finally getting the chance to tow I found it to be horrible, no power at all, I couldn't even reach the estimated MPG claimed just for city driving! I complained several times about its performance and all I got was the run around and the well you have to give it time to settle in and all that crap. Finally after talking the the service department that outrightly said, you are in the wrong truck for what your doing or at minimum you need a different gear ratio!! The Services guys know so much more, they should be selling them! I quickly brought this up with the sales department and was bounced around again, finally they sent me to aftermarket who ALSO confirmed I needed a different gear ratio. Well when the cost came to $4500 to do the work everybody froze, and guess what I got the run around, I felt like a piece of toilet paper on the floor being kicked around from person to person. I ended up contacting GM to file a case and buyback, only to be told it was a dead end and it between me and the dealer! They sold me into a vehicle they said was capable and clearly isnt! and now they cant come good to fix the situation, only to try and sell me into another car! DO NOT GO HERE, you are going to be very disappointed, Just look at the other reviews on here before you buy, see for yourself! I wish I had otherwise I certainly would have reconsidered. This is my first and last CHEVY! Huge customer service disappointment! and vehicle performance! It may not be the vehicle itself but I was sold the wrong one for my needs! They know that and cant admit it. If you have to go here, do not talk to anyone else but Ray Banks! he is the only person here you should Trust, Steve Tucker and his crew need to get serious lessons on their own vehicles. Stop trying to run for cover!
I hope this will ward would be buyers else where, Trust me on this!
I also disappointed in GM for not coming to bat on this one. Sorry Chev you lost a customer. Shame since we were thinking a new Tahoe in 6 months from now! Not a chance anymore. Think I'll look at something else.

Provided by YP.comYou are ruining lives with these lies. Why dont you be serious and straight up with people and maybe you would not have such a high turn over rate. You have wasted the last 7 months of my familys life and now you are trying to pursue other unfortunate poor souls. Trust me when I say all of phoenix is going to now how shady Midway Chevrolet is and exactly what kind of business they run. Have you ever looked at your reviews online? You are running a 2 and a half star dealership people are not happy with your unprofessional business. Van Tuyl is going to hear from me. You give all your leads to one married couple and have them close everyone so you can say "wow we have people making $100,000 a year" All dealership overprice cars, but you are the worst. Your website is horrible and you need to fire the people that run internet. I could run Used Cars and do a better job in one week then you do in one year.
You will continue to succeed because of the unfortunate (mostly drug dealers no lie) that you sweep off the street and put 1000 in their pockets that they gotta pay back.
Start with Paid Training week one $400.00 (really because my husband got about 100)
Then you go on the 90 Day $12,000.00 entry level program pay Plan! ( Really because in 7 months my husband made about this but owed about half back, so he was paying to work for you)
Ask about the Midway Chevrolet 90 Day $12,000 + Guarantee!

Provided by YP.comI wasted 3+ hours at Midway Chevrolet. Maybe I can save someone else the frustration I experienced there yesterday. If you are considering a car purchase from Midway Chevrolet I have two suggestions for you; #1 Do not go there. #2 Instead of going to Midway Chevrolet just go to see Eric Steffes (602-430-6983) at Courtesy Chevrolet on Camelback and 12th Street. Midway Chevrolet is really a classic example of why car dealers have less then a stellar reputation.
Yesterday, 2/26/2011, I went to Midway completely ready to purchase a new car. They had a car on their lot that I wanted to purchase. In the past I have probably purchased 20-25 cars so I’m fairly familiar with the process. I've never had an experience like I had yesterday at Midway Chevrolet. If you do go there be extremely careful and make them slowly explain the numbers and terms before you sign anything. Believe it or not, they were filming the signing of documents when I went into the financing person’s office. It seemed as if that person in the financing office took forever trying to sell me an extended warranty or service contract. That extended warranty or service contract was going to cost me an extra $408 a month in addition to my car payment. Yes, that was in addition to the actual car payment! When I declined that extended warranty or service contract he started to very quickly go over the numbers and terms of the car purchase agreement. Luckily I was able to catch that they were able to meet my negotiated monthly payment amount by extending my car loan to 6 years. I suggest that you be extremely careful regarding the numbers you sign for if you go there. You might get home with you new car and be surprised at what you signed.
After I caught the 6 year loan term I told them that was not acceptable. The finance person left and in came the most unprofessional person I have ever met in any car dealership. I eventually told him that I was leaving. I requested that he return the keys and registration for the car that I had wanted to trade in. Well, they could not find or locate my car keys or registration. They even tried to tell me that I had to just accept a “copy” of my vehicle registration. It got to the point that I was ready to dial 911 and call the local police department to report my car as stolen. Eventually I received my car keys and registration, and left. Yes, this was their “customer appreciation” at it’s finest!
Next I went to Courtesy Chevrolet a few miles away at Camelback & 12th Street. They also had a car on their lot that I wanted to purchase. At Courtesy Chevrolet I met Eric Steffes and worked with him and George to complete the purchase of my new car. Two hours after I walked into Courtesy Chevrolet I was leaving with my new car, totally pleased with how the whole process and transaction took place. Eric and George were incredibly professional and there was absolutely no pressure or ugliness whatsoever. When I went in to sign the paperwork with their finance person there was not even any heavy handed pressure to purchase an extra service contract or extended warranty. And the finance person thoroughly explained the details of what I was signing and answered all of my questions patiently and unhurriedly. From start to finish, everything in my purchase at Courtesy Chevrolet was conducted as it should have, with dignity and professionalism.
Before shopping for a car check out the reviews for these two dealerships. In hindsight I wish that I had checked the reviews first. I would not have wasted the 3+ hours I spent at Midway Chevrolet. I have personally seen why there is such a contrast in the reviews for these dealerships. Call Courtesy Chevrolet, ask for Eric Steffes, and you will see the difference. I would very strongly recommend Courtesy Chevrolet and Eric Steffes to everyone.

Provided by YP.comThese people are very inept and incompetent. And don't even think of calling with a complaint. You will be ignored for the rest of your life. Know everything you need to know about buying or leasing a vehicle before you go there. The salespeople are trained to tell you what you want to hear even if it is a lie. Any added warranties are not what they appear to be or what they explain them to be. My advice is to find a smaller more trustworthy company to deal with. My purchase was in '08 and two years later still can't get a resolution. Off to court we go.

Provided by YP.comI sent my future daughter-in-law to Midway as I knew a little about the dealership. From the moment she and my son drove onto the lot they were double teamed by the sales staff. They were not given any time to consider the purchase or the ramifications of the loan agreement. When they attempted to leave for a couple of minutes to clear their heads, the sales staff would not return the keys to the auto they drove onto the lot and were going to use as a trade-in stating they had lost the keys. The sales staff used every pressure game in the book and the end result was a purchase of an over-priced vehicle complete with a loan that had astronomical interest rates. I would not recommend Midway for the purchase of any vehicle, new or used. In fact, if Midway was the only dealership in town, I would recommend leaving town. If you think I am being too harsh or critical, drive over to Midway and experience the pressure as it will start immediately when you park your car. Incidently, the vehicle purchased has been a really bad investment. I believe Midway took advantage of the inexperience of this young lady who turned 18 just a couple of months prior to the aforementioned transaction.

I have purchased my last two trucks from Midway with great satisfaction. Dealing with the fleet department was a piece of cake.....they even delivered the last truck I purchased out to the house! Now that's service you don't find anymore. I would travel from anywhere in the valley to deal with them. Thanks!!!

Do not take you vehicle to Midway chevy for service. We had a 2005 Diesel Quad-cab with 20,000 miles on it when we took it in for a oil change. Who would have thought that someone could screw up a vehicle as bad as they did. Not us. The truck was never the same again. We couldnt pull our trailer at all without the truck overheating. Each time we would take the truck in, they tell us it was fixed. We test drive it with our trailer and couldnt even make it out of Black Canyon City. Their service department sucks.
